Ideas for National Work/Life Week 3-7 Oct 2016

The 2016 Modern Family Index, produced by Working Families and Bright Horizons, reported that:

– Working parents are increasingly feeling ‘burnout’.  This is due to the toll of family and work obligations
– Nearly one third of parents reported being burned out often or all of the time
– 40% of parents said work regularly prevents them helping with homework and putting children to bed

Parents cannot sustain this for the longer-term and will end up leaving work if they are not supported.

Working Families National Work/Life Week aims to provide a time for working parents to assess and focus on improving their personal work/family balance.  To support this, we are putting on a series of 1-hour workshops.  This is a great way to show your employees – parents in particular – that you are supporting them.

1-hour Workshops for National Work/Life Week
These short, focused and practical workshops are a quick and effective way of offering high quality learning & development opportunities to your employees.
These sessions put a practical emphasis on supporting, recognising and educating parents – they are all work-focused and parent-centric, with ideas on how to increase personal productivity and wellbeing at work.
Small groups of employees are able to network and learn from each other, helping them to feel connected to others in the same situation as them.
