“P&P run workshops for our new and expectant mothers and fathers. In the 12 months since we have been providing this service we have consistently received excellent feedback from the participants. The workshops are highly practical and thought-provoking, and everyone who attends walks away feeling motivated and supported - by the Company, P&P and their fellow colleagues. The workshop design, planning and follow up provided by P&P is second to none and they have proved to be a highly-effective partner in our journey towards better supporting our working parents“.
The topics discussed in the sessions are relevant to our lives, we all go through stages and it is nice that our company acknowledges the work life balance!
P&P has run our group maternity coaching sessions, providing support to women both before and after their maternity leave, for the past two years. They have tailored their workshops to reflect the requirements of our employees and have provided sound advice on how we can best support our working parents!
Helen Letchfield conducted a number of maternity coaching sessions. They were run in an informative, helpful and professional way and provided all the key materials required by the participants. Helpful support materials and checklists were made available. Helen's clear experience shone through, and her facilitation skills were very strong, specifically she handled sensitive questions very well. The feedback received was very strong.
Overall, I think what impressed me most was your evident understanding of the issues facing women returning to work at a senior level. This, of course, comes from having ‘been there’ yourself and from your having reflected in depth on how you felt and what you needed to enable you to make a smooth transition back to the workplace.
Over the past year, P&P has delivered their comprehensive Maternity Coaching Programme across the UK.
The programme has greatly supported our female executives through the transition of having a baby and returning to work after maternity leave. It has given them a huge confidence boost and equipped them with practical skills to facilitate the return to work, enabling them to make an immediate positive impact on return. Through in-depth evaluation, P&P has reported an increase in return and retention rates of those women returning from maternity leave.
P&P Coaching has worked with our Parents And Carers Network at University College London since 2014. They have conducted workshops based on the themes of time management for professional parents, working fathers, maternity coaching sessions and single parenting. All these sessions were very well received by the audience at a diverse organisation like UCL. We have received very healthy feedback from participants who attended and who have reported that the maternity coaching series is an area where they need most of the support in order to make a smooth transition between parenting and work. The workshop facilitators are always very knowledgeable, friendly and sensitive to the needs of a diverse community. The sessions are always well planned, carefully delivered and follow up is brilliant. It has allowed us to identify the most recurring themes where working parents need the most support.
I received really positive feedback from the ladies that attended the workshop today. I think they all really like the fact that the workshops are in smaller groups and it allows open discussions and people feel relaxed to talk in that sort of environment. They all felt they gained great advice from you to help them going forwards in their return to work and got tips and information to help them at work which they may not have through about. All of them highly recommend the workshop and think it’s a great idea that the business is going to be running them throughout the year as they feel people will very much benefit from them.
